The Hondru family of dealerships began in 1981, when Peter Hondru purchased Phillips Ford Sales located in Manheim, PA. The dealership quickly earned a reputation for its’ great service and an unbeatable buying experience. In 1987, Manheim Chrysler Plymouth was added to the Hondru family of dealerships. The dealerships continued to grow with the addition of E-Town Dodge in 1989, which is located in Elizabethtown, PA. In 1991 the GMC Truck franchise was added to the Manheim Chrysler dealership in Manheim. The dealerships continued success is due to its outstanding employees and loyal customers, as well as our reputation for honest and dependable service and sales. In 1998 the Hondru dealerships grew again with the addition of E-Town Chevrolet, Oldsmobile Pontiac located next to E-town Dodge in Elizabethtown, PA. In addition to outstanding sales and service departments, the Hondru Dealerships include one of the largest fleet departments in the State of Pennsylvania and one of the finest, state of the art, body shops.

The Hondru Dealerships strongly support School Districts, fundraisers, sporting events, and many other community sponsored programs through various donations. We realize a community is only as strong as the support it receives.

Recently the Hondru Group of dealerships have changed their names to better help our customers logically connect that the dealerships are owned by the same owner, Peter Hondru. The name change also helps customers remember our web page address www.hondruauto.com. From now on what was formerly known as Phillips Ford will now be called Hondru Ford, what was formerly known as Manheim Chrysler GMC will now be called Hondru GMC, E-Town Dodge will be known as Hondru DODGE/CHRYSLER/JEEP and E-Town Chevrolet Pontiac will be known as Hondru Chevrolet Pontiac.
