The business began with Peter Hondru purchasing Phillips Ford Sales in 1981. With this first dealership, the Hondru name became associated with outstanding customer service and a smooth buying experience. Just a few years later, Hondru added Manheim Chrysler Plymouth in 1987, Elizabethtown Dodge in 1989, and GMC Truck in 1991. Dedicated employees and loyal customers became the foundation of the family of dealerships, allowing for continued growth. In 1998, Hondru dealerships added E-Town Chevrolet Oldsmobile Pontiac, which was located next to the E-Town Dodge dealership.
Today, we're one of the largest fleet dealerships in the state and operate a state-of-the-art body shop. We support local organizations and programs through donations and participation in the community. We believe that by serving the local community, we never lose sight of our customers as more than just a sale, but a part of our family.
